"iPhone SE is the most powerful 4-inch phone ever. It features advanced camera capabilities and incredible processing power packaged in a beloved design. It's a big step for small."

Welcome to iPhone SE, the most powerful 4-inch phone ever. To create it, Apple started with a beloved design, then reinvented it from the inside out. The A9 is the same advanced chip used in iPhone 6s. The 12-megapixel camera captures incredible photos and 4K videos. And Live Photos brings your images to life. The result is an iPhone that looks small. But lives large.

Future iPhones could include technology which changes what content is displayed on screen by knowing where the user's eyes are looking. The tech appears in a newly-granted patent which Apple applied for back in 2012.

The patent describes a system which would know where on the screen you are looking – or if you aren't looking at the phone at all – and only display certain notifications when you are looking in the right place. Additionally, if a user was holding their phone but looking away when a notification came in, it would stay on the screen until they had seen it. The patent describes the technology as "a computer system with a display and a gaze detection device".

Samsung used a similar system on the Galaxy S4 called Smart Scroll, which scrolled pages up and down when the user looked at the top or bottom of the screen. Previously to this, Google used the front camera to unlock Android phones by taking a photograph of the user's face, preventing strangers from gaining access.

Does it always seem like your iPhone or iPod Touch runs out of battery life just as you're about to use it for an important meeting, or settling in for a six-hour plane ride? You can maximize your battery life by reducing usage of battery hogging apps, adjusting some of your system settings, and by charging your battery more efficiently.

A blue background means that the message exchange is happening via iMessage with another iOS device (an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac, etc). Text message rates don't apply, and these messages can be send through your cellular provider's data network or via WiFi (no cell service needed).

A green background means that the message is being exchanged with a non-iOS device (Android, Windows phone and so on) and was delivered via SMS through your mobile provider. Messages can only be exchanged with these recipients when you have cell service.

If all your messages are green, it could mean that iMessage has been disabled on your device Navigate to Settings > Messages and enable iMessage.

It’s being described as the ‘divorce lawyer’s dream’ – an iPhone feature that has existed for months, buried deep into the Settings menu.

Without your knowledge and consent, every move you make is being tracked in alarming detail. The Frequent Locations system pinpoints the places you go on a map, how many times you’ve paid a visit, and the exact times of your arrival and departure.

If you haven’t disabled the feature, this means that Apple knows where you work and live – and is even able to understand and predict your daily routine.
